I don’t know why I even bother writing this down, but I have to get it off my chest. Tonight, I saw someone at my window. At first, I thought it was a trick of the shadows, the branches scratching against the glass. But then… I saw the eyes.
They were staring straight at me. Cold. Empty. Unblinking. I froze. My heart raced so fast I thought it would burst. I didn’t scream. I couldn’t. I couldn’t even move.
**March 13th**
I didn’t sleep much last night. Every creak of the floorboards, every whisper of wind, made me jump. I checked the window again, thinking maybe I was imagining it all. But there it was—just a faint silhouette against the frosted glass. Watching. Waiting.
I tried telling myself it was a neighbor, maybe someone playing a cruel joke. But no one lives close enough to see this window. And no one would… stare like that.
**March 14th**
I stayed up all night, hiding behind the curtains. The silhouette moved sometimes, almost gliding across the glass. I thought about calling the police, but what would I say? “There’s a ghost at my window?” They’d laugh.
I can’t stop thinking about those eyes. They feel… familiar, somehow. But that doesn’t make sense. I’ve never seen this person before.

Today, I tried to avoid looking outside. I pulled every curtain, shut every blind. But even with the curtains closed, I can *feel* them. Watching. Waiting. I can’t tell if I’m losing my mind or if it’s really there.
I don’t know how much longer I can do this. If I go to sleep tonight, will they still be waiting? Will I wake up at all?
